Book Discussion/Mailing Lists

Biblio
The Bibliophile list exists for the purpose of buying and selling rare, scarce, out-of-print, and collectible books and related material; and for discussions pertaining to these activities. They welcome articles and discussions about books, including collecting, preserving, selling, etc. There is an annual fee to underwrite the hosting of the list. Highly recommended.

Exlibris
Exlibris is primarily for the special collections librarian, but entertains discussion by others about rare books, bibliography, conservation, and other relevant topics. No "for sale" posts.

Modlib
An e-mail discussion list dedicated to Modern Library editions. Collectors at all levels are welcome. No "for sale" posts.

Rarebooks
Rarebooks is not a discussion list, per se, but a place to browse for and buy rare and collectible books via email. Only "Books for Sale" posts by booksellers. Rules state nothing offered under $50 USD.
